So which do you think was the best?
Sorry, double thread.
xbox because i havent tried ps3 but has same games as 360 and wii just really.... isnt good
Sony, hands down. Second is Nintendo, third is MS.
Your supposed to choice based on the amount of content they gave you... Not which system you own.
sony probably then i still think Microsoft is better tho.
So did I up until my console died... Facking fudge nuggets...Zitat:

I havent seen Nintendo's yet but Sony's conference raped Microsoft's.
I only seen half and all it seemed to focus on was fricken Wii Fit... For 45Min.Zitat:
Zitat von Phil
What on earth did you put xbox instead of Microsoft...?
ALso Nintendo had the best one...Sony was good too but the suckey new psp and the lack of a lair demo... MS just talk about current games and they did not at lest nintendo did some news games and sony did the new psp while mS just sit there and talk about stuff we knew...
Cause I felt like it.Zitat:

From what I hear sounds like Sony had the best but Nintendo also had a good one.
MS was ok.
the sony was the best imo echo chrome was trippy. microsoft came in second for me
THe only thing I felt microsoft did better than sony and nintendo is the stage...That great huge ass screen and the pool...Also that band rocked..
I'd have to give it to Sony. With Nintendo and Microsoft tied.
Microsoft's hands down. Microsoft actually gave us stuff we can use right now.(sonic and Golden axe on XBL arcade and Disney movies on the marketplace. What can be better than Alice in Wonderland in HD?)
Whereas the other two companies just showed us stuff that we cant use for months(Killzone 2 and MG4 don't even have a set release date why should I care about them now when I cant play them for at least 8months?) or just words.
Edit: If anyone needs to see the conferences I recorded them.
Nintendo's
Microsofts
Sony's
Note: I fell alseep during the Sony conference so its not the whole thing and the converter messed the color up yet its still very watchable.
Sony completely surprised me and had the best performance this year. They really stepped up their game from last year and delivered.
Microsoft came in second.
Nintendo's was a complete let down and I was very disappointed in it.
microsofts press conference was just crap, everything they said I knew already, there were no surprises
nintendos was decent, the actual wiiFit balance board was a surprise, the zapper and wheel were just meh
sonys had tons of games to show off, they truly brought themselves from the graveyard in my opinion, and i still cant get over that echochrome video, i just want to play it so much(so trippy)
so sony won in my opinion

the point of e3 is to show off whats to come in the year, not show us what we can do now as thats pointless since we know about it alreadyZitat:
Zitat von Sinfulfate
Did you watch the conferences? MS did talk about there games coming out this year whereas sony talked more about games coming out in 08 yet people liked it more I dont understand that. Heres one example of what I mean by MS gave us stuff now and sony didnt:Zitat:

Sony: Hey guys check out this sweet Killzone 2 and MGS4 trailer doesnt it look sweet?
Me: Ya thats sweet.
Sony: You wont be playing them anytime in the next 7 months.
Me:
or
Sony: We just got NCsoft to develop games for the PS3.
Me: Great what are they working on? Guild wars for PS3? City of villains for PS3?
Sony:....
Me:
Microsoft: We just signed with Sega/Disney to allow disney movies on the marketplace and to have Sega games on the XBL arcade.
Me: Sweet when will this take effect?
Microsoft: Immediately go to the marketplace and download them right now
Me:
I dl'd Sonic and Golden Axe BEFORE I saw the E3 press conference. So already it was old news.Zitat:

MGS4 is coming out THIS year, simultaneously, worldwide. So that's less than 5 months.
MS dwelled far too much on Halo 3 and the bile coloured 360 to go with it. They announced nothing about the 65nm chips, which is probably one of the most important things they should be working on. They need to kill the Ring of Death once and for all.
I thought it said early 2008?Zitat:
Zitat von Phil
Edit: Ya its early 2008.
Yeah I only just seen the latest trailer. I could've sworn the last one said 2007. My bad.Zitat:
Zitat von Sinfulfate
edit: the last trailer did say 2007. So they're delaying it to 2008 but making it a worldwide launch.
Well in any case Sony have the most to show off. Being as they have Home launching "sometime". Little Big Planet looks outstanding, that game is what first made me want a PS3. I will almost certainly be picking one up later this year.
Microsoft. I was let down by Sony's whole PSP section, that was just crap, their PS3 section was good, that echocrome was the only unknown game though. Microsoft also did really well in the GFW section, with GoW as well as announcing it would be built into Unreal Engine 3. Nintendo's sucked. Big time. They showed WiiFit. That's Miyamoto's new big game? Bull****.
What about Infamous....Zitat:

Sony > M.S. > Nintendo
Killzone 2, game of E3 no question. Loved the stuff they showed for home, it's coming together very nicely. Not too impressed with the new PSP though.
They just need to bundle all these "Wii Excersize" Games together, its ridiculos that they release 3 of those fricken games and each one only has like 8 games! Also the whole "New PSP" was bull sh*t, at least when nintendo release the DS light, it was "Improved" With numereous add-ons. But with the PSP "Light" What do we get? A smaller system with video out... Wow, makes me want to go out and buy a new one huh? Not! Sony needs to wake up from their fantasy land and realize that the PSP is FAILING! If it wasn't for homebrew and shaty a** ports I would have sold the fricken thing at some yard sale... Nowfor Microsoft, their Performance was good, except for the fact that they didn't really show anything that would make me want to go out and buy their console. They showed a couple game trailers, played a few games and thats it. Nothing new, they didn't even announce the new price cut, the new Chatpad or anything...
Idk about that. Mass Effect > Killzone 2. Nintendo shouldnt even be on that list wii fit lol they should of just named it Wii Sports 2. I was hoping they would of made a mic for SSB brawl. What fun will it be owning people online with jigglypuff if I cant smack talk?Zitat:

Nope, sry.Zitat:

Killzone 2, it will get game of E3, but we haven't seen what kinda gameplay features it will have. At the moment it's just pretty graphics. If Mass Effect had never been shown, and Microsoft showed all the stuff we know about it off, I think it would get game of the show.Zitat:

No comments about my post?!Zitat:

lol have you played any of bioware's rpgs? Mass Effect will be the FF VII of our time easily.Zitat:

Ya and I wonder why Two Worlds wasnt even mention that game will be out in august and is gonna be sweet.Zitat:
Zitat von Macca
My guess is that Microsoft didn't have enough time. I'm amazed they didn't put two worlds in a montage though.
There was lot's of gameplay and it looks stellar, I didn't think we would get too see as much as we did. For what I've read about certain aspects of the game, (enemies have certain control over weather and such) seem intuitive enough. The parts in the trailer that shows deaths are just so crazy, especially the movements of the Helghast arms and the way they fall to the ground were just stunning. They clearly have a system seller on their hands.Zitat:

Buy Star Wars KoToR for PC now. I was only 8 when FF VII was released.Zitat:

Well now that I've been thinking about it more, this E3 really has made quite an impact.
The price drop for PS3 and their conference and all the upcoming games that are on the way, are making me want a PS3. I'll probably pick one up, not instantly, but sometime in the fall.
I had wanted a 360 but with all the failures and the lack of upcoming games that I really want that wouldn't be on PS3 as well, I don't really want one anymore.

My Wii, well I'm keeping it, and not selling it, but Nintendo better start stepping up their online game(see my thread about it) and software wise. WiiFit is not what I would call a killer game by any means, especially for us hardcore gamers. Quite disappointing.
PS: Anyone know whatever happened to Wii Music/Wii Orchestra?
Im not sure if Im willing to put the time into an RPG, my baby girl takes most of it away from me...... while Im not at work that is. Turned 9 months on the 7th. :)
I remember hearing good things about that title.
Ya I agree somewhat.Zitat:
Zitat von Skarface
That's no excuse just spend all the time you would here on the game lol. Congrats about your daughter.Zitat:

I must say, Sony is really proving to us that the PS3 is one ****ing powerful machine. After looking at some screens for GT5, Forza 2 looks like a really good last generation game. Seriously. Just look at the screen below:
http://i13.tinypic.com/4tfw1tz.jpg
The grass and road looks like a picture and the car is so smooth, you can see everything inside of it, there are no jaggies, perfect anti-aliasing.
Killzone also looks supurb! Visually stunning really, as you can see below:

Metal Gear Solid 4 looks great, again. Amazing anti-aliasing, great animations, facial animations, visuals are great, basically looks awesome.
Spoiler for METAL GEAR SOLID 4:
Only problem is.. Are these games going to be fun? Killzone 1 was bad, I don't like realistic racing games, and we have no information on how MGS4 actually plays.
So.. I dunno.
On the other hand, Mass Effect looks better than Killzone 2 and MGS4 in some ways, mostly in textures. Just look at these two images, really impressive:
Spoiler for MASS EFFECT:
From Best Conference to worst:
Sony > Microsoft > Nintendo
GT:5 wont be out till late next year. So it's kind of stupid to compare it to Forza that came out in May. That's the same case as comparing Killzone and Gears.
That reminds me.Zitat:

I think we'll have to wait for extended gameplay footage of Killzone before making a good judgment.
GoW looks better in parts. Better texturing, and the character model looks better. I think the lighting in Killzone takes it though.Zitat:
